WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Ghgfwsion ri
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on March 23 , 1965 , on the petition
of E. R . Moore and Jessa Moore , husband and wife , requesting that said
Planning Commission recommended to the City Council of the City of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas , that the City Council enact an ordinance rezoning
the following described property which is presently zoned R-2 Two Family . ..
Residential District ; to -wit :
Part of the Northeast Quarter ( NE� ) of the Northwest Quarter
( NW4 ) of Section 22 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West of the
5th Principal Meridian , being more particularly described as
follows : Beginning at the Northwest corner of said forty acre
tract , thence running South 601 feet for the point of beginning ;
thence East 210 feet ; thence South 110 feet ; thence West 210
feet ; thence North 110 feet to the point of beginning , less
any part taken up by the roadway on the west side ,
from R- 2 Two Family Residential District to R-3 Multi -Family Residential
District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said hearing , setting forth the date , time ,
place and purpose of hearing , and location of property was published in
the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said
City , more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission
certified to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its
recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above -described
property , which is presently zoned R-2 Two Family Residential District , to
R-3 Multi -Family Residential District :
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCILLOF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the above-described property which is presently
zoned R-2 Two Family Residential District be and the same is hereby re-
zoned to R-3 Multi -Family Residential District .
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed , and this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage approval and publication .
