AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE NO. , 1111 ESTABLISHING
ONE - WE:Y STREETS ; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS
PROVISIONS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That Section 3 of Ordinance No . 1111 shall be amended to
read as follows :

SECTION 2 . Any person violating Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum of not
less than $ 1 . 00 nor more than $25 . 00 .
SECTION 3 . It appearing that the above -named streets are congested by
reason of heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public health
and safety , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
