Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 1408 ORDINANCE NO . 1 + 08 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF NATIONAL STREET FROM GOVERNMENT STEET TO DUNN STREET AND DUNN STREET FROM NATIONAL STREET TO llth STREET , IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person , firm or corporation , to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the pavement on the South side of National Street from Government Street to Dunn Street , and on Dunn Street from National Street to 11th Street , in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . SECTION 2 . Any person violating Section 1 of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof , shall be fined in a sum not less than $ 1 . 00 nor more than $ 25 . 00 . SECTION 3 . It appearing National Street , Government Street , Dunn Street and 11th Street at the point above described are congested by reason of heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval .
