Snawder and Jessie Snawder , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that the City Council enact an ordinance rezoning the following described property, to - wit : All of Block 7 and 11 , and all of Block 8 , all in Parkers ' Plat of Valley View Acres , an addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . Also , all of the North 432 . 95 feet of Lots 23 , 24 and 25 of Evans Farm , a subdivision of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , lying West of the right of way of St . Louis and San Francisco Railroad and East of Skull Creek, containing in all 41 . 73 acres , more or less , from R - 2 Two Family Residential District to I- lA Light Industrial District , and WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of hearing , and location of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newpaper of general circulation in said City, more than 14 days prior to said public hearing , and WI3EREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation t an ordinance be adopted rezoning the above - described property from R - 2 Two Family :iasidential District to I- lA Light Industrial District ; NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . That the above described property presently zoned as R - 2 Two Family Residential District be , and the same is hereby rezoned as I- lA Light Industrial District . SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its assage , approval and publication.
