1960 , TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM R-2 TWO FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT , C-2 THOROUGHFARE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
AND 0- 1 OPEN LAND DISTRICT TO I-2 HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning
Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas on Tuesday ,
May 5 , 1964 , requesting that said Planning Commission
recommend to the City Council of the City ofPFayetteville ,
Arkansas , that the City Council enact an ordinance rezoning
the following described property , to-wit :
All that part of the South Half of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 28 , Township 16 North , Range
30 West of the 5th Principal Meridian lying West
of U . S . Highway No . 71 , as presently located , and
being more particularly described as follows , to-wit :
Beginning " at an iron pin on the West boundary of said
highway , said pointbeing 120 feet west of the north-
east corner of said 80 acre tract , and running thence
West to an iron pin at the northwest corner thereof ,
thence South to an iron pin at the southwest corner
thereof , thence East to an iron pin on the west
boundary of said highway , thence northeasterly along
the west boundary of said highway to the point of
beginning .

Commercial District and ) 0- 1 Open Land District to I -2
Heavy Industrial District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth
the date , time , place and purposes of hearing , and location
of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times ,
a newspaper of general circulation in said City , more than
15 days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning
Commission certified to the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance

be adopted rezoning said above described real estate from
R-2 Two Family Residential District , C- 2 Thoroughfare
Commercial District and 0- 1 Open Land District to I -2
Heavy Industrial District ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the rezoning of the above -described
property from R-2 Two Family Residential District , C-2
Thoroughfare Commercial District and 0-1 Open Land District
to I -2 Heavy Industrial District , be granted by the City
Council ,
SECTION 2 , That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage ,
approval and publication . � � y
