WASHINGTON COUNTY , ARK .
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO TH$,LmTODY*1PC14A1L4TTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS ; ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY TO WARDS; AND FOfliUlh)+iTEkLFP% POSES
WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County, Arkansas , did on November 25 ,
1963 , make an Order annexing the following described territory to the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , to- wit:
A part of the Northeast Quarter ( NE 1 / 4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1 / 4) of
Section 21 in Township, 16 North , Range 30 West , and being more particularly
described as follows : Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Northeast
Quarter (NE 1 / 4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1 / 4) and running thence
South 420 feet ; thence West 210 feet ; thence North 420 feet; thence East
along the North line of said forty- acre tract to the place of beginning ,
containing two acres , more or less .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 11 . That the Annexation of the above - described territory to the
Corporate Limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be and the same is
hereby accepted.
SECTION 2 . That all of the above - described territory is hereby assigned to
and made a part of Ward 1 of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect
from and after its passage , approval and publication .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 24th day of February , 1964 .
