Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 1343 ORDINANCE NO , 1343 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON MEADOW STREET BETWEEN COLLEGE AVENUE AND EAST STREET IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person , firm or corporation to parlft vehicle of any kind whatsoever on Meadow Street between College Avenue and East Street in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . e SECTION 2 . Any person violating Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in the sum of not less than $ 1 . 00 nor more than $25 . 00 . SECTION 3 . It appearing that parking on Meadow Street. at the point above described creates a hazard; due to the heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public health and safety , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage .
