WASFIINGTON COUNTY ARKANSAS WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Cby�&C@NNAtthe City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on November 20 , 1962 , on the petition of C . Afi%isler , requesting that said Planning Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that said City Council enact an ordinance rezoning the west part of the following described property which is not already zoned C- 2 Thoroughfare Com- mercial , to- wit : Part of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1 / 4) of the Southeast Quarter ( SE 1 / 4) of Section 21 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West , and being more particularly described as beginning at a point which is 110 feet east and 185 feet north of the Southwest corner of the above described 40 acre tract ; thence North 80 feet , thence South 830 45 ' East 368 . 9 feet to the West line of the right- of-way of U . S . Highway 71 , thence South 110 32 , West with the West line of said right- of- way 100 feet and thence North 800 28 , West 351 . 6 feet to the place of beginning , from I- 2 Heavy Industrial District to C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District , and WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and purposes of hearing , and location of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said City, more than 15 days prior to said public hearing , and WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted rezoning the West part of the above described property not already zoned C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District , from I- 2 Heavy Industrial District to C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District ; NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : SECTION 1 . That the West part of the above described property not already zoned C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District , which is presently zoned as 1- 2 Heavy Industrial District be , and the same is hereby rezoned to C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District . SECTION 2 . That all Ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed , and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage , approval , and publication .
