AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO, 1239;�� Z�OIJTII GV ISTRICT MAP
OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , APPROVED JUNE 13 , 19602 CF CAE�O E CERTAIN
REAL ESTATE FROM ZONE R - 4 MULTI- FAMILY AND DORMITOGY<pISTRICT TO C - 1
NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , on July 24 , 1962 , on the petition of Le Mon Clark, requesting that
said Planning Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansa
that said City Council enact an ordinance rezoning the property described as follows , to- wit :
Lots 3 , 4, and 5 of Block 11 of the Original Plat to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ,
from R - 4 Multi- family Residential and Dormitory District to C- 3 Central Commercial
District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place and pur -
poses of hearing , andlocation of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas Times , a
newspaper of general circulation in said City more than 15 days prior to said public hearing ,
and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said. Planning Commission certified to the
City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be
adopted rezoning the above - described property from R - 4 Multi - family Residential and
Dormitory District to C- 1 Neighborhood Commercial District .
NOVI , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the above - described property be rezoned from R - 4 Multi- family:
Residential and Dormitory District to C- 1 Neighborhood Commercial District ,
SECTION. Z . . . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed , and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage ,
approval , and publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 13th day of August , 1962 .
