AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1166 , PASSED AND
APPROVED APRIL 18 , 1958s AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <LF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That Section 16 of Ordinance No . 1166 , passed and
approved April 18 , 1958 , be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows : " That the system shall be operated on a fiscal year basis beginning
the first day of August and ending the thirty-first day of July. "
SECTION 2 . That all ordinance and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed, and this action being necessary for
the public health , safety, peace , order , comfort , and convenience , within
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , an emergency is hereby declared to
exist , and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval .
