AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS ; ASSIGNING SAID TERRITORY TO 'AARDS ; AIS( OR OT:Fj,=k1§URPOSES

WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County , iP �as , did on April 12 ,
1962 , make an Order annexing the following described territory to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , to- wit:
Part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1 / 4) of the Southwest Quarter ( SW 1 / 4)
and part of the West Half ( W 1 / 2 ) of the Northwest Fractional Quarter
of Section 2 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West , more particularly
described as follows : Beginning at a point which is 500 feet North of
theAcorner of the Northwest Quarter ( NW 1 / 4) of the Southwest Quarter
(SW 1 /4 ) of Section 2 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West; thence East
224 . 40 feet ; thence North 260 . 7 feet; thence East 312 . 18 feet ; thence
North 765 . 6 feet ; thence West 536 . 58 feet ; thence South 1 , 026 . 3 feet
to the place of beginning .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the Annexation of the above - described territory to the
Corporate Limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be and the same is hereby
accepted .
SECTION 2 . That all of the above - described territory is hereby assigned to
and made a part `of Ward 3 of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect
from and after its passage , approval , and publication.
PASSED AND APPROVED , this 14th day of May , 1962 .
