REAL ESTATE. FROM ZONE R - 3 MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DIST�{ yTrbYSy2�
THOROUGHFARE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on March 30 , 1962 , an the petition of Mary Bessie Blake
and Mr . and Mrs . E . E . Osburn , husband and wife , requesting that said Planning Com- .
mission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that said
City Council enact an ordinance rezoning the property located on the southwest corner of
the intersection of South Street and Church Avenue , known as Lots 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , of Block 25
of Jennings Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , from R - 3 Multi - Family Resi -
dential District to C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District , and
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the date , time , place
and purposes of hearing , and location of property was published in the Northwest Arkansas
Times , a newspaper of general circulation in said City , more than 15 days prior to said
public hearing , and F,
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified
to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an
ordinance be adopted rezoning the property located on the southwest corner of the inter -
section of South Street and Church Avenue , known as Lots 1 , 2 , 3 , and 4 of Block 25 of
Jennings Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , from R - 3 Multi - family Residential
District to C- 2 Thoroughfare Commercial District .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the property located on the southwest corner of the inter -
section of South Street and Church Avenue , known as Lots 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 of Block 25 of
Jennings Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , presently zoned as R - 3 Multi-
Family Residential District be , and the same is hereby rezoned to C- 2 Thoroughfare
Commercial District .
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage , approval and publication ,
PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of April , 1962 .
