AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1207 , AND MORE PARTICULARLY
FIXING THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE TRAFFIC CLERK OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That Section 8 of Ordinance No . 1207 is hereby amended to read as
follows :
118 . The traffic clerk' s annual salary is hereby fixed at thirty- six
hundred dollars ( $3 , 600 . 00) . The traffic clerk, before entering upon
the duties of said office , shall make and file with the City Clerk a good
and sufficient bond for the faithful performance of his duties as traffic
clerk and as Clerk of the Fayetteville Municipal Court in the sum of
$7 , 500 . 00 , said bond to be approved by the City Council and the
premium therefor , if a surety bond be approved , to be charged as
an expense of operating said municipal court . "
SECTION 2 . That this Ordinance shall become effective January 1 , 1963 .
SECTION 3 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed .
