WHEREAS , a public hearing was held before the Planning Commission of the City of
Fayetteville , on October 24 , 1961 , on a petition filed by the property owners , requesting
that the Planning Commission recommend to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , that the City Council enact an ordinance to rezone from R - IB Single - Family
Residential District and R - 3 Multi - Family Residential District to I- lA Light Industrial
District , all of the following described real estate , to - wit:
Lots 16 , 17 , ' 18 , 19 , 20 , and 21 , of Block 3 , Lots 7 , 8 , 9 , 1C , and 11 of Block 2 ;
and Lots 12 , 13 , 14 , 15 , 16 , and 17 of Block 1 of Mitchell ' s Addition to the City
of Fayetteville , and Lot 15 of Bushnell ' s Addition to the City of Fayetteville .
and ,
WHEREAS , notice of said public hearing , setting forth the time , place , and purposes o°
hearing , and location of the property sought to be rezoned was published in the Northwest
Arkansas TIMES , a daily newspaper having a general circulation in said City of Fayettevi.ile ,
Arkansas , more than fifteen days prior to said public hearing , and
WHEREAS , following said public hearing , said Planning Commission certified to the City
Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , its recommendation that an ordinance be adopted
rezoning said above described real estate from R - 1B Single - Family Residential District 1.11
R - 3 Multi - Family Residential District to I- IA Light Industrial District .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the hereinabove described real estate be and the same is hereby rezoned
from R - IB Single - Family Residential District and R-3 Multi - Family Residential District
to I- lA Light Industrial District , as recommended by the Planning Commission of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section 2 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby re -
pealed , and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage ,
approval and publication .
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4th DAY OF DECEMBER , 1961 .

BILLE FROM R - IB SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AND R - 3 MULTI- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO I- 1A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT .
