AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF. FAYETTEVILLE ; ,
ARKANSAS , ASSIGNING . SAID TERRITORY TO WARDS , AND' FOR OTHER PURPOSES :
WHEREAS , the County Court of Washington County , Arkansas , did on May 22 ,
1961 , make an Order annexing the following described territory to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , to- wit:
Part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8 in Township 16 North of Range 30
West , beginning at a point one ( 1 ) foot south of center of intersection of . .
Lawson and Sang Street , which point is 166 feet south of the center of the
sections , and running thence west twenty- five ( 25 ) feet for place of
beginning , thence south Four Hundred Ninety- Four (494) feet to present city
limits , thence East Fifty ( 50 ) feet, thence North Two Thousand ( 2 , 000)
feet; thence Northwest One Hundred Fifty- eight ( 158 ) feet Five ( 5) inches
to a point Two Hundred (200) feet South and Ten ( 10 ) feet East of Northwest
corner of Lot 8 of University Acres Subdivision, thence North Two Hundred
(200) feet to South line of Dean Street , thence West Fifty ( 50) feet to a
point Forty (40 ) feet West of the Northeast corner of Lot 9 , University Acres
Subdivision, thence South Two Hundred ( 200 ) feet; thence Southeasterly One
Hundred Fifty- Eight ( 158) feet Five ( 5 ) inches to a point Twenty- Five (25 )
feet West of the East line of said Lot 9 , thence South One . Thousand Five
Hundred and Six ( 1 , 506 ) feet to the place of beginning
Part of Lot Numbered Nine (9 ) in University Acres Subdivision to the City ,
of Fayetteville , as per recorded plat of said subdivision, described as
beginning at the Southwest corner of said lot and running thence North
Two Hundred Twenty- Five ( 225) feet, thence East One Hundred Seventy- Six
( 176) feet; thence South Two Hundred Twenty- Five (225 ) feet; thence West
One Hundred Seventy- Six ( 176) feet to the place of beginning , except
Twenty- Five (25) feet of equal width off the East side of said lot reserved
for roadway , also except Twenty—Five ( 25 ) feet off the South side of said
lot reserved for roadway.
NOVI THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . That the Annexation of the above described territory to the
Corporate Limits of. the City ' of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be and the same is hereby
accepted.
