WHEREAS , ' there has been duly presented to the VNYIV &fci1 of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas , a plat dated October 1959 , known as a Replat of Lots 18
and 19 of Green Acres Subdivison of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , by which the
owners of the platted real estate have dedicated for the -public use the streets , alleys ,
and easements shown upon said plat; and
WHEREAS , the City Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
has recommended the acceptance of said plat.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , hereby accepts and confirms
the dedication of all streets , alleys , and easements, dedicated in Replat of Lots 18 and
19 of Green Acres Subdivision of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , and hereby declares
said streets , alleys and easements , to be public streets , alleys and easements ; and the
said City Council hereby assumes the care , control and jurisdiction of the same .
Section 2 . That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication./

MINUTES OF FAYETTEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION
December 8 , 1959
The Fayetteville Planning Commission met in special
session on December 8 , 1959 , with Chairman George Caudle
presiding , and other members present being E . E . Gose ,
Clay Yoe , Jim Phelps , Hugh Stubblefield and Suzanne Lighton .
Also present were Raymond Nelson of the University Planning
Division and Harold_.Lieberenz , City Building Inspector .
The proposed plat of Stanberry Subdivision, a Replat of
Lots 18 and 19 of Green Acres Subdivision , signed by Mr . and
Mrs . Ernest Stanberry and Mr . and Mrs . Virgil L . Baker , was
presented . On motion of Miss Lighton , seconded by Mr . Stub-
blefield , it was voted ( with all members voting in the af -
firmative except Mr . Gose, who abstained ) that , provided that
the turn -around have a 40 -foot radius instead of a 35 -foot
radius and that an easement for utilities of at least five
feet across the South end of the tract be created , the Plan-
ning Commission redommend to the City Council that the plat
be approved subject to the approval of the City Engineer .
Discussion of details of the proposed revised.. zoning
ordinance was begun and the meeting adjourned at 10 : 00 p . m .
to meet again in special session on December 16 for discussion
of further details of the proposal .
