AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NO TRUCK ROUTES ON CERTAIN
DESIGNATED STREETS IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS,
AND FOR OTHER PURPQ4ES
BE ITORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTE�
VILLE , ARKANSAS:
Section 1 . For the purposes of this ordinance the word "trcck" shall
mean any vehicle designed or operated for the transportation of property,
and whose body weight or whose combined body and load weight exceeds 4500

The term "no truck route " shall mean a way over certain streets as
designated herein ; over and alung which trucks coming into and going out
of the City must not operate ,
Section 2 , There is hereby established within the corporate limits of
the City of - Fayetteville , Arkansas , the following "no truck routes " :
Hail ;greet
Cleveland Street
Sunset Drive
That portion of Razorback Road lying between Maple Street
and rleveland Street
Section., 3 • All oralinances or parts ' of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed and this ordinance being uecessary to relieve traffic congestion
on streets within the corporate lir - its of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas ,
and being necessary for the protection of the public health, peace and safety
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
