AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND CORRECTING ORDINANCE NO . 1169, PASSED AND
APPROVED ON THE 12TH DAY OF MAY , 1958.
WHEREAS , on the 12th day of May, 1958, Ordinance No . , 1169 was passed by the City
Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , but by reason of clerical error, said Ordinance
No . 1169 erroneously described the real estate in Westwood Addition to the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas, intended to be replatted .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
. SECTION 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance No . 1169 passed and approved by the City
Council of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, on the 12th day of May, 1958, be and the same
is hereby corrected to read as follows :
"Section 1. That the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , hereby accepts and confirms the
dedication of all streets , avenues , and alleys dedicated in a Replat of Blocks 1 , 2 , 3 , 4, 5,
718, 9110, 11 , 13 , 14, 15, 16 and 17 , in Westwood Addition to the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, and hereby declares said streets, avenues, and alleys; to be public streets ,
avenues, and alleys; and the said City Council hereby assumes the care , control, and
jurisdiction of the same . "
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed, and this action being necessary for the public peace, safety, order, comfort, and
convenience , within the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas, an: emergency is hereby declared to
exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
