HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1155 ORDINANCE NO , 1155 AN ORDINANCE PR70HIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF BAXTER STREET FOR A DISTANCE OF ONE HUNDRED FEET EAST OF COLLEGE AVENUE IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE. ARKANIAS : Section 1 . L It shall be unlawful for any person, firm , or corporation, to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever on either side of Baxter Street for a distance of one hundred feet east of College Avenue in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . Section 2 . Any person violating Section l of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in the sum of not less than $ 1 . 00 nor more than $25 . 00 . Section 3 . It appearing that Baxter Street at the point above described, by reason of heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full, force and effect from and after its passage .
