AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE WEST
SIDE OF GARLAPdD AVENUE BETWEEN MAPLE STREET AND CLEVELAND
ctEET IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS
BE; IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE.,,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person, firm , or corporation, to park
a vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the west side of Garland Avenue between
Maple Street and Cleveland Street in the City of 'Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section Zo Any person violating Section 1 of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in the sum
of not less than $ 1.00 nor more than $25 , 00 ,
Section 3 , It appearing that Garland Avenue at the point above described , by
reason of heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the protection of the public
health and safety , an emergency is hereby declared to exist , and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage .
PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of December , 1957 .
