AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION
TO THROW, PLACE, OR OTHERWISE DEPOSIT ANY PAPER, CANS, BOTTLES, OR OTHER
TRASH, REFUSE, OR GARBAGE UPON THE CITY STREETS AND / OR ALLEYS WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, EXCEPT IN RE -
CEPTACLES PLACED UPON SUCH STREETS OR ALLEYS WITH APPROVAL OF THE
CITY SANITATION DEPARTMENT ; TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That the short title of this ordinance shall be "Anti-Street LitterOrdinance " .
Section 2 . It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, to throw, place or
otherwise deposit any paper, cans , bottles , or other trash, refuse or garbage upon the public
streets or
alleys of this cyity ..

Section 3 . A writ of attachment may be issued against any vehicle used in violating the
provisions of this Act for the collection of any fine assessed for such violation.
Section 4 . Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a mis -
demeanor and subject to a fine of not less than4NM Dollar ($S.-00) nor more than Twenty - five
Dollars ($25 . 00) ,
Section 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed . ,

Section 2 . It shall be unlawful for any person, firm , or corporation , to throw,
place or otherwise deposit any paper , cans , bottles , or other trash , refuse or
garbage upon the public streets of alleys of this city, except in receptacles placed
upon such streets or alleys with approval of the City Sanitation Department.
Section 3 . A writ of attachment may be issued against any vehicle used in violating
the provisions of this Act for the collection of any fine assessed for such violation.
Section 4 . Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not less than Five Dollars ( $.5 .00) nor more
than Twenty- five Dollars ( $25 . 00 ) .
Section 5 . That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here -
by repealed.
