Washington County , Arkansas ,:. did on September 7 , 1957 ; make an Order annexing the following described territory to the Qty of Fayetteville * Arkansas , to -wit: „ Beginning at a point on the present Fayetteville City Limits boundary line , which is the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1 /4) of the Southwest Quarter (SWI /4) of Section - 3 , Township 16 North , Range 30 West , and described as running thence North 747 . 6 feet; : thence East along the North side of Ash. Street 499 . 73 .feet; thence North 582 . 7 feet; thence East 485 . 96 feet; thence South 582 . 7 feet to the North line of Ash Street; thence East along the North line of Ash Street 316 . 57 feet to a point which is 17 . 74 feet West of the half Section line of said Section 3 ; thence North 0043 ' West 252 feet; thence North 330 . 7 feet ; thence East 20 . 89 feet : thence North 82 . 5 feet ; thence East 629 . 64 feet; thence South 705 . 2 feet; thence West 90 . 84 feet ; thence South 702. 3 feet; thence West 1845 . 2 feast to the point of beginning . and, WHEREAS , the County Clerk of Washington County , Arkansas , has for - warded the transcripts of said annexation proceedings to the Secretary of State and to the City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , NOW ,: THEREFORE, , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF •FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS : the . Annexation of. the . above„ described territory to the SECTION 1 : , That Corporate limits of the City. of Fayetteville , Arkansas be and the same is . hereby accepted .
