AN ORDINANCE ASSIGNINGf` TO THE CITY CLERK THE . ADDITIONAL DUTY
OF MUNICIPAL COURT CLERK ,
Section 1 . That effective May 1 , 1957 , the duties of the City Clerk of the :'..City
of Fayetteville,. Arkansas , shall include but shall not be limited by the following :
He shall spend one -half ( 1 /2) of his time each dayas Cleric of the Fayetteville
Municipal Court, in which capacity heiihall perform such duties as may be directed
by the Fayetteville Municipal Judge ,
Section 2 . That 8+e City Clerk shall receive no additional salary for performance of
the duties of Municipal Court Clerk ,
Section 3 , That the City Clerk shall enter into a bond for theaithful performance
of his duties as City Clerk and Municipal Court Clerk in th sum of eight thousand
Dallarz. . ($8 , 000 . 00 ) , said bond to be approved by the City Council .
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public
health , peace and safety, an emer ency is hereby declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall be in full force an ffect from ar_*fter its passage , approval
and publication .

AN ORDINANCE ASSIGNING TO THE CITY CLERK THE ADDITIONAL DUTY OF MUNICIPAL
COURT CLERK,
Section 1. That effective May 1 , 1957 , the duties of the City Clerk of the City of Fayette -
ville , Arkansas , shall include but shall not be limited by the following: He shall spend
one -half ( 1 / 2) of his time each day as Clerk of the Fayetteville Municipal Court, in which
capacity he shall perform such duties as may be directed by the Fayetteville Municipal
Judge .

duties as City Clerk and Municipal Court Clerk in the sum of E' — °�� ' Dollars

Section 4 , All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public health, peace and safety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage , approval and publication.
