HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1129 1 ORDINANCE NO. 1129 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON BOTH SIDES OF HILL AVENUE BETWEEN CENTER STREET AND STONE STREET IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE* ARKANSAS , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEo ARKANSAS: SECTION 1 . It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the pavement on either the east or west .side of Hill Avenue between Center Street and Stone Street in the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . SECTION 2 . Any person violating Section I of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor , and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in a sum not less than $ 1 . 00 nor more than $ 25 , 00 . SECTION 3 . It appearing that Hill Avenue at the point above described is congested by reason of heavy traffic , and it being necessary for the pro - tection of the public health and safety , an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from andafter its . passage and approval .
