AN ORDINANCE AMENDING . ZONING ORDINANCE NO . 1008 APPROVED OCTOBER
22, 1951 , REZONING AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THERETO ZONING ORDI-
NANCE NO. 1002 APPROVED SEPTEMBER 10 , 1951 ; AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE
_ NO. 1005 APPROVED OCTOBER 8 , 1951 , AS AMENDED; TO REZONE CERTAIN
REAL ESTATE FROM ZONE "A" RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO ZONE 11C " MULTIPLE
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT ; TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM ZONE
"C " MULTIPLE FAMILY EESIDENCE DISTRICT TO ZONE "G" INDUSTRIAL DIS-
TRICT; AND TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE FROM ZONE "B " TWO- FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO ZONE "D" MULTIPLE FAMILY DISTRICT .
WHEREAS , the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas has
recommended to the Fayetteville City Council that the following described real estate
be rezoned from Zone "A" Residence District to Zone "C " Multiple Family Residence
District , to-wit :
An area bounded on the South by Maple Street , on the east by Fallon Avenue
on the North by Assembly Drive and on the west by Mission Boulevard,
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas ; and,
WHEREAS , the planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas has
recommended to the Fayetteville City Council that the following described real estate
be rezoned from Zone "C " Multiple Family Residence District to Zone "G" Industrial
District, to-wit :
All that area not now assigned as Zone "G" Industrial lying between the main
track of the St . Louis and San Francisco Railroad on the west and the main
track of the spur track sometimes known as the P and GE or the O and CC
railroads and now owned by the St . Louie and San Francisco Railroad as the
east boundary; and 6th Street sometimes called Wall Street at U . S . Highway
No . 62 as the South boundary and west Center Street as the North boundary;
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas , has
recommended to the Fayetteville City Council that the following described real estate
be rezoned from Zone B two- Family Residence District to Zone D Multiple Family
Residence District , to -wit :
A tract of land lying between two' parallel lines , one 150 feet , and the other 226 1 / 2
feet north of and parallel with the north line of Maple Street and extending from Vande-
venter Avenue to Wilson Avenue , within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , and,
WHEREAS , pursuant to due notice to all interested parties in the form and manner
required by law , this is the time , place and date fixed for hearing upon the aforesaid
recommendations of the City Planning Commission ,

NOW ; THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FA.YETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Se ction 1 : That the following described real estate situated within the corporate
limits Df the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be and the - same is hereby rezoned from
Zone "A" Residence District to Zone "C '! Multiple Residence District , to-wit:
An area bounded on the south by •Maple Street on the east by Fallon Avenue ; on the
North by Assembly Drive , and on the west by Mission Boulevard , within the corporate
limits of the city of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
Section 2 : That the following described real estate situated within the corporate
limits of the C ty of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be and the same is hereby rezoned from
Zone "C " Multiple Residence District and Zone "G " Industrial District , toa- wit :
All that area not now assigned as Zone G industrial lying between the main

Section 3 : That the following described real estate situated within the corporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas be the same is hereby rezoned from
Zone "B " Two- Family Residence District to Zone "D" Multiple Family Residence
District , to - wit :
A tract of land lying between two parallel lines , one 150 feet , and the other
226 1 / 2 . feet north of and parallel with the north line of Maple Street , and
extending from Vandeventer Avenue to Wilson Avenue within the corporate
limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section 4: The provisions of this ordinance are severable and if any part of this
ordinance shall be declared invalid or unconstitutional the remaining parts of this
ordinance shall remain valid and constitutional ,
Section 5 : Thatl all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed and this action being necessary for the public health
peace , safety , order , comfort and convenience within the City of Fayetteville . Arkansas ,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance ®hall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval .
