1951 , REZONING AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE THERETO ZONING ORDINANCE NO .
1002 , APPROVED SEPTEMBER 10 , 1951 , AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO . 1005 ,
APPROVED OCTOBER 8 , 1951 , AS AMENDED , TO REZONE CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
FROM ZONE "E " COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND ZONE " D " RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT ,
TO ZONE " G " INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS , on the 23 day of September , 1955 , there was filed in
the office of the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
the petition of George Puckett to rezone from Zone "D " Residential
District and Zone " E " Commercial District , to Zone " G" Industrial
District , the following described real estate , to?41 t :
Beginning at a point where the West line of
South Garland Avenue intersects with the North
line of West Sixth Street , and running thence
Northwesterly with the West line of South Gar-
land Avenue to a point which is 150 feet North
of the North line of West Sixth Street ; thence
In a Westerly direction parallel to , and 150
feet North of the North line of West Sixth
Street to a point which is 209 feet east of the
East line of Razorback Road ; thence North 75 '"Teet ;
thence West 209 feet to the East line of Razorback
Road ; thence South with the East line of Razorback
Road to the North line of West Sixth Street ; thence
in an Easterly direction with the North line of
West Sixth Street to the point of beginning ,
and ,
WHEREAS , pursuant to due and proper notice to all interested
parties in the form and manner and for the time required by law , all
interested parties have been afforded full and equal opportunity to
be heard upon said proposed change in the zoning ordinances ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 : That the following described real estate , situated
within the corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , be
and the same is hereby rezoned from Zone "D " Residential District and
Zone "E " Commercial District to Zone "' G" Industrial District , to-wit
Part of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 17 and of the southwest quarter
of the southwest quarter of Section 16 , Township
16 North , Range 30 West , described as follows : be-
ginning at a point 524 feet north of the southwest
corner of said southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 17 , thence east to the west line
of Garland Avenue as at present located , thence in
a southerly direction along the west line of Garland
Avenue to the north line of West Sixth Street , thence

of West Sixth Street to the west line of said
southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of ,
Section 17 , thence North along the said west
line of said southeast quarter of southeast

SECTION 2 : That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con -
flict with this ordinance are hereby repealed and this action being
necessary for the public health , peace , safety , order , confbrt and
convenience within the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval . .
