ARKANSAS , ASSIGNING SAID TERRITOPI TO A I'tARD AND FOR OTIUM PURPOSid4 :
bl]EREAS , the County Court of Washington County, Arkansas , did on July 22 ,
1955' make an order annexing certain territory to . the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ; and
i7IIEREAS , after the expiration of thirty days , there having been no appeal
taken from said Order of Annexation, the County Clerk of Washington County,
Arkansas , caused a certified copy of said order of annexation together with an
accurate plat or map of said territory to be filed with the Secretary of State ,
of the State of Arkansas , and with the City Clerk of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas ;
NM, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIMD by the City Council of the Ctty of Fayette-
ville , Arkansas :
Section 1. That the annexation to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , of
the following described property, lying and ging adjacent to the present corpor-
ate boundary of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , situate in P7ashington County,
Arkansas, totrit :
All that part of the South half of the Noetheast quarter of Section Eight
( 8 ), Township Sixteen (16) North, Range Thirty ( 30) West lying South of
the center line of State highway No. 16 West, and a part of the Southwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter of said section, township arra range des-
cribed as follows : Beginning at a point am hundred thirty-six (1361 feet
north of tho . Southwest corner of said fortymacre tract, and running thence
north four h:vndr6d twenty-seven (427 ) feeti thence Vast four hundred (400)
feet, thence South one hundred eighty-one (181 ) feet to the center line of
