AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0 . 1008 APPROVED OCTOBER 223 1951, REZONING
AND ADOPTING BY REFEREN`E rMERETO ZONING ORDINANCE NO . 10023 APPROVED SEPTEMBER 10,
19519 AS AMENDED BY ORD CE NO . 1005 , APPROVED OCTOBER 83 19512 TO REZONE CERTAIN
REAL ESTATE FROM ZONE "E" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT , TO ZONE "G" INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT .
WHEREAS, on June 25 , 1955 , there was filed in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Fhyetteville , Arkansas, the petition of Dr. John F. Ashburn, Charles
W. Stewart , and Clarence E. Stamps, to rezone Lots Eight ( 8 ) , Nine ( 9 ) , Ten ( 10 ) ,
Eleven (11) 3 Twelve ( 12 ) and Twenty-five ( 25 ) feet of equal and uniform width off
of the South side of Lot Numbered Thirteen ' ( 13 ) , all in Block Numbered Six ( 6) of
the revised plat of Blocks Five ( 5 ) and Six ( 6 ) in Ferguson ' s Addition to the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas, except any part thereof taken by U.S. Highway No. 71,
from Zone "E" Commercial District to Zone "G" Industrial District, and

WHEREAS, pursuant to due notice to all interested parties in the form and
manner required by law, all interested parties have been afforded full and equal
opportunity to be heard upon said proposed change in the zoning ordinances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the following described real estate situated within the
corporate limits of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .. ,be and the same is hereby
rezonedfrom Zone "E" Commercial District to Zone "GQ Industrial District, to-wit:
Lots Eight • ( 8 ) . Nine ( 9 ) , Ten ( 10) , Eleven (11) , Twelve ( 12 )
and twenty-five ( 25 ) feet of equal and uniform width off of
the South side of Lot Numbered Thirteen ( 13 ) , all in Block
Numbered Six ( 6) of the revised plat of Blocks Five ( 5 ) and
Six ( 6) in Ferguson' s Addition to the City of Fayetteville.. Arkansas,
except any part . thereof taken by U.S. Highway No. .71.
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed and this action, being necessary for the public health,
peace, safety, order, comfort and convenience within the City of Fayetteville,
Arkansas, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
