PAYERTEVILLS, ARKANSAS
UHEREAS a petition was duly filed tdt& the - City Council of the City of
Payetteville, Arkansas on the day of_ .+mer , 1953, asking tha City
Council to vacate and abandon all of that portion of the old Farmington Road
lying north of Block 1, Uestwood Addition and south of U. S, Highway No. 62,
which street is shown on the plat of Westwood Addition to the said city now
appearirg of record in Plat Book. 1, at Pago 2Z 3 , in the office of the So-
cordor of daohington County, Arkansas.

time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons desiring to be
heard on the question and has ascertaired that said road hereinabove describm
ed has not been used by ' the public . genorally for a period ' of` at least fifteen
years prior to the date of the passage of this Ordinance -and that all the
owners of the property abutting upon that portion of' the road to be vacated "
have filed with the City Council their written consent and request for the
abandonment of said road , and that public interest and welfare willnot be
adversely affected by the abandonment of such road.

Section 1. The City of Fayetteville , Arkansas hereby. roleasos, vacates
and abandons all its rights together with the rights of the pubIS6 generally%
in and to. the street designated as follows :
All that portion of the old Farmington Road lying north of Block 1;
t:estwood Addition to the City of Payottovillo, Arkansas, and south
of. U. S. Highway No. 62. '
Section 2. Title to -said street -ia , hereby vested in the adjoiiing
amore as provided by law.
Section 3. - . A copy of this^ Ordinance duly certified by tho 'City; Clork
shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Uashinmton County, Arkansas,
and - recorded in the deed records of said county.
