AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN STRKETS WITHIN THE CORPORATE LMITS OF
THE CITY OF FAYETPEVILLEs ARKANSAS. •
BE Ir ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ,OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS:
VMERFAS, .it is desirable to rename certain streets within the corporate limits of
the City of Fayettevillo, drkansaa, in order to prpvids for greater convenience
locating said streets and , thereby, adding to their usefulness.
N0170 THEREFOREs BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FAYETTEVILLE, • ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the names of the following " streets", "avenues",
"roads" , "drives", "thoroughfares", eto. , of the City of Fayotteville, Arkansas, ,
eball be changed as followsr , Bushnell Avenue to Gregg Avenuej that the avenue
which is in continuation of Gregg Avenue North of North Street to the City Limits
previously known as Glendale Road or County Road be named Gregg Avenue; Glendale'
Avenue to Frisco Avenue; Baxter Street to Baxter Lane; Shady Avenue between North
Street and Holly Street to Shady lane] Washington Avenue between North and Oakwood ,
Streets to Riley Avenuej Willow Avenue between North- and Oakwood Streets to Wah- '
neetah Avenue] Walnut Avenue between North Street and Wooderest Drive to Hillcrest
Avenue] that certain .road ( sometimes known as Washington Avenue ) extending from

a point near the intersection of Ash Street and College Avenue in • a northerly di'- . . .
rection through Green Acres to Green Acres Roads Gregg Avenue in Vdlson-Dunn
Addition to Duna Avenue; that Arkansas Way be changed to Skyline Drive and that
portion of Skyline Drive which is south of Arkansas ray be changed to Arkansas Nay;
Florida Boulevard west of Garland Avenue to California Boulevard; Unnamed street
( sometimes known as Douglas Street ) beginning at the northwest corner of Oliver
Addition and running in an easterly direction to its intersection with Razorback
Road' to Cardwell Lanej Chester Street in Hotz Addition to SaVer Lane; ,Oliver
Avenue in Fairgrounds Addition to Gzaham Avenuej that certain road beginning at a
point on Oliver Avenue approximately 640 feet south of the south line of Best Liaple
Street extending wrest to the City Limits to Halsell Road .
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
