AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE INSTITUTION OF EMINENT DOMAIN . PROCEEDINGS ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDEMNING
PRIVATE PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC USE AS A STREET , OPENING, EXTENDING , STRAIGHTEN-
ING AND WIDENING NORTH STREET FROM A POINT WEST OF THE WEST LINE OF WALNUT
STREET TO LAKERIDGE DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY ; THE: CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. That the attorney for Street Improvement District No . 59 , .
and the City Attorney for the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas , be and they
are hereby authorized - and directed to file legal proceedings under the sta-
tutes of eminent domain in ' the courts of the State of Arkansas on behalf of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , and to take all necessary action for
the accomplishment o£ the purpose of condemning the real estate hereinafter
described, for public .use as a street, opening , extending; straightening and
widening 'North Street east from a ` point west of .the west line . of Walnut "
Street to Lakeridge . Drive, asfollows, to-wit :
Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter ( M 4 )
of the Southwest Quarter ( 5194 ) of Section Ten ( 10 ) . Township Six-
teen ( 16 ) North of Range Thirty ( 30 ) West of the 5th Principal
Meridian, thence west 104. 25 -feet for a point of beginning ; thence
west 114 . 25 feet ; thence south 12 feet; thence east 114. 25 feet;
thence north 12 feet to. -the place of beginning .' Also commencing
at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter (NW4 ) of the
Southwest Quarter ( SW,-1 ) of Section Ten ( 10 ) , Township Siicteen ( 16 )
North of Range Thirty (30 ) West of the 5th .P. M. , thence east 210
feet; thence south 12 feet; thence west 314. 25 feet; thence north _
12 feet; thence east 104. 25 feet , to the point of _ beginniing. ,
Section 2 . All .ordinances and parts of ordinances -in conflict `herewith
are hereby repealed .
