AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON THE PROPOSED
HIGHKAY 71 BY-PASS BETWEEN THE INTERSECTION OF SCHOOL STREET AND
SECOND STREET AND THE INTERSECTION OF COLLEGE AVENUE AND CENTER
STREET IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEj ARKANSAS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or cor-
poration to park a vehicle of any kind whatsoever on the proposed High-
way 71 by-pass between the intersection of School Street and Second
Street and the intersection of College Avenue and Center Street, in
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
SECTION 2 . Any person violating Section One of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof,
shall be fined in any sum not less than One Dollar ($1. 00 ) , nor more
than Twenty-five Dollars ($25. 00 ) .
SECTION 3. It appearing that removal of hazardous and congested
traffic conditions is essential for the preservation of public health,
peace , and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this
Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval .
