ORDI ANCE RGQUIRINQ TIFF VACCINATION OF ALL DOGS IN THE CITY OF FAYETTWILLI: ,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THC CITY COUNCIL, OF TIL;:: CITY OF FiXETTEVILIZ ARKAP5AS :
Section 1 . All , dogs in the City of Fayetteville shall be vaccinated annually
against rabies .
Section 2. Asa prerequisite to' the issuance of the city dog license , there
shall be presented to the official issuing such license in the City of Fayette-
vine , a certificate of a li. oensed Veterinaslan shcor ng that such dog has been
vaccinated rithin one year prior ' to the date of the issuance of such licenses .
Section 3. 1etal. tags eviencing vaccination for rabies shall be attached to
the harness or collar of all doEs = in -the City of Fayetteville .
Section 4. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall permit any dog to run
at large in the' City of - FayetteviIle without first havin ; such dog vaccinated
for rabies at _ least 'once in each year, shall be guilty of a :misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall be firrd' in any sum ' not more than ?250_ 00 ' and in addition
thereto the doh or dogs may impounded and- destroyed as in cases of failure
to pay the Fayetteville City Dor License .
Section 5. Allordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are herebyr
repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force on and after .
January 1, 195E
