RTPAS , a petition was duly filed with the City Council of the
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , on August 7 , 1950 , asking that said
City Council vacate and abandon all that portion of Prospect Street
in said City described as follows :

of Lot 11., Block 4 , A . L . Trentfs Revised Plat of City Park
Addition to the Cite of Fayetteville , Arkansas , running
thence South 32 . 5 feet , thence South . 80 degrees 32 minutes
Viest,, 101 . 2 feet , thence in a Northwesterly direction 130 feet
along the perimeter of a circle of 150 foot radius , the center
of which is located 35 feet East and 75 feet North of the
Southwest corner of said Lot 1;. , thence in a Southeasterly
direction 91F . 2 feet along the perimeter of a circle of 60
foot radius , the center of which is located 60 feet North
and 5 feet East of the Southwest corner of said Lot 5 , thence
Past 100 feet to the point of beginning ;
17TrRAS , after due notice as required by law , the City Council
has , at the time and place mentioned in the notice , heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the
portion of the Street hereinbefore described was heretofore dedicated
to the public use as a Street ; that the eastern portion of said tract
was abandoned as a Street many years ago and that it would be for the
general benefit and welfare of the City for that portion thereof lying
South of Lot 6 , '31ock 4 , A . L . Trentts Revised Plat of City Park
Addition to said City to be abandoned ; that all owners of the property
abutting upon the portion of the Street to be vacated have filed with
the City Council their written consent to such an Abandonment ; and
that *public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by the
abandonment of said Street .
I"!'7 TIT-'REFORE , be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas :
Section 1 . The City of Fayetteville , Ar'cansas , hereby releases ,
vacates and abandons all its rights , together with the rights of the
public generally , in and to that portion of Prospect Street irk E) Ep �a1D

Section 2 . That the portion of the Street so vacated , properly
should be and is hereby made a part of Lots 5 and 6 , and of the
CJest 45 feet of Lot 4 , clock 4 , A . L . Trentts Revised Plat of City
Park Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
Section 3 . A copy of this ordinance duly certified by the City
Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of said County ,
and recorded in the deed records of said County .
Section 4 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage .
