ORDINANCE NO . 0 7
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO CARS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
VMREAS , the Police Department of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas is
in need of two Police cars by reason of the fact that present equipment • is
worn beyond repair and the functions required of the Police Deparment cannot
be maintained without the purchase of said cars .
NMV, . THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : 6 �
Section 1 . There is hereby appropriated out of , the =C= Fund a sum
of Dollars c
for . the purpose of purchasing two . cars : ::::. .
Section 2 . The Board of Public Affairs is hereby directed to advertise
for bids for said cars as set forth in their recommendation and to proceed
with the awarding of a contract and the purchase of said cars as provided by
Section 19-1022 et se and totarrange for delivery of said vehicles at the
earliest possible time .
Section 3 . This ordinance shall take effect and be in- full force from
and after its passage . '
PASSED AND APPROVED this 24th day of April , 1950.
