AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF APPARATUS, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
IN ORDER TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH FOR THE
SWIMMING POOL AT THE CITY PARK IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE, WASHINGTON
COUNTY, ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the swimming pool at the City Park in the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas does not meet the minimum requirements of the State Board of Health
for public swimming pools, and
WHEREAS , it is the desire of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas to make
such improvements as are necessary to meet the requirements of the State
Board of Health , and
YPKEREAS, the Board of Public Affairs of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas
has recommended to the City Councul of the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas the
purchase of apparatus , equipment and supplies which , when installed, will meet
the requirements of the Board of Health of the State of Arkansas , and has
submitted an estimate cff the cost of such materials , equipment and supplies

in the total sum of $ / 3 . 4 0 0
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS :
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund ( and
Park fund) the sum of $ / 30 QOO co for the purpose of purchasing apparatus ,
equipment and supplies for the swimming pool at the pity Park in the City of
Fayetteville, Arkansas in accordance with the recommendation of the Board of
Public Affairs .
Section 2. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby directed to advertise
for bids for the apparatus , equipment and supplies set forth in their recommendaffiDn
and to proceed with the awarding of a contract as pro)rided by Section 19-1022
Et seq. and to arrange for delivery at the earliest ..possible time .
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage .
