All ORDINANCE RELOCATING THE FIRST FIRE ZONE BETWEEN EAST DICKSON STREhT
AND EAST DAVIDSON STREET ALONG NORTH COLLEGE AVENUE INTHE CITY OF FAY-
ETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTHY OF FAYETTEVMLLE ,
ARKANSAS :
Section One . The first fire zone is hereby established to Include
a zone 460 feet wideiChxt6riding 230 feet on each side of the center line
of North College Avenue , from the North line of East Dickson Street to
the South line of East D$vidson Street .
Section Two . All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed , and it appearing that the boundaries of
Mae first fire zone in the general area described in Section One , hereof ,
are extremly irregular and in some instances discriminatory, and it appear-
ing that this Ordinance is necessarly for the preservation of the -public
Health, Peace and Safety ; an emergency is hereby declared to exist and
this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its pas -
sage , approval and publication.
Passed and approved this 21st day of Nevember , 1949 .
