AN ORDINANCE READJUSTING SEER SERVICE CHARGES IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS ON A PRO RATA BASIS AIENDING SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE 891 OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . That Section 1 of Ordinance Number 891 of the City of
1 _ Fayetteville , Arkansas be amended to read as follows :
"Section 1 : That the following be fixed for rates to be
charged for Sevier Service by the Sevier System of the City
so extended and improved, which the Council finds are
reasonable and necessary rates to be charged .
20 . 75 per month for each residence or . duple x connected v;ith
and served by the System.
ti1 . 50 per month for each three family unit dwelling house
connected vri.th and served by the system .
,)2 .25 per month for each apartment house having no more than
four family units connected with and served by the system .
00 . 75 per month for each family unit in an apartment house
in excess of four units connected with and served by the
system .
, 2 .25 per month for each boarding house or rooming house
connected with and served by the system .
03 . 00 per month for each fraternity house or sorority house
connected with and served by the system .
$)1 . 50 per month for each single story business house having
no basement connected with and served by the system .
00 . 75 per month for each basement and each floor of a business
house in excess of one floor connected v;ith and served by the
system.
03 . 00 per month for the Scott Hotel if connected with and served
by the system .
011 . 25 per month for the Llountain Inn Hotel if connected v+ith
and served by the system .
;$11 . 25 per month for the 71ashington Hotel if connected with and
served by the system .
07 . 50 per month for the Fayetteville City Hospital if connected
with and served by the system .
415 . 00 per month for the U .S . Veterans ' Hospital if connected with
and served by the system .
037 . 50 per month for the University of Arkansas if connected with
and served by the system . "
Section 2 . The City Council of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas here-by
declares that the funds to be raised under Section 1 of this ordinance are
necessary for the protection of public peace , health and safety in order to

provide
'Z_provide an adequate serage system and disposal plant for the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas and accordingly declares that an emergency
exists and this ordinance shall be effective on and after the day
