ORDINANCE NO . :
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BURL DODD ADDITION , GLENWOOD
PARK ADDITION AND AVi THAT PART . OF FERGUSON ' S ADDITION
LYING EAST OF UNITED STATES HIGHWAY N0 . 71 , AND THE EAST
HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION TWENTY--ONE ,
TOWNSHIP SIXTEEN NORTH► RANGE THIRTY WEST , AS PARTS OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ; ASSIGNING THE TERRITORIES ACCEPTED
TO WARDS IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS the County Court of Washington County , Arkansas
entered an order on June 26 , 1946 , annexing Burl Dodd Addition,
Glenwood Park Addition , all that part of Ferguson ' s Addition
lying East of United States Highway No . 71 and the East Half
of the Northeast Quarter of Section Twenty-OnejTownship Sixteen
North, Range Thirty West , to the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
and
WHEREAS more than thirty days has expired from the date
of the order of the County Court and no appeals have been taken
from said order and the County Clerk of Washington County,
Arkansas , has certified said proceedings to the City of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas as provided by law .
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas:
SECTION I . That Burl Dodd Addition , Glenwood Park
Addition and all that part of Ferguson ' s Addition lying east
of United States Highway No . 71 and the East Half of the
Northeast Quarter of Section Twenty-One , Township Sixteen
North) Range Thirty West be and the same is hereby accepted as
a part of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas .
SECTION II . All that part of the above described lands
lying East of South College Avenue as extended is hereby
assigned to and made a part of Ward 3 of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , and all that part lying West of South College Avenue
as extended is hereby assigned to and made a part of Ward One
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
SECTION III . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and it appearing that
