ORDINANCE NO. �
AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE GRANTING OF PER11ITS FOR
THE ERECTION OF TMEPORARY BUILDINGS , AND PROVIDING FOR THE
DI SPOI STION OF SAP,IE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY . THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FA YETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS : '
Section 1 . h6 permit shall be issued for the erection
!. or construction of a temporary building within the limits of the
first fire zone of the " ity of Fayetteville as now designated or
as hereafter designated or extended by the City Council until
the person desiring such permit shall make written request in the I
following form :
TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR OF THE CITY OF
FAYM TEVILLE , ARKANSAS.
The undersigned does hereby petition the City of vayetteville , '
Arkansas for authority to erect or construct a temporary building
on the following described property :
( Description )
In consideration of the issuing of the permit the petitioner
, agrees that within two years after the date set by the President
of the United States as the end of the period of emergency , and
upon notice of that date given by the City of r'aietteville , he
will dismantle and remove the said temporary building .

Section 2 . Within the meaning of this ordinance , the word
"Temporary Building" or its plural , shall be held to mean any
building constructed or erected of metal and commonly known under
the general classification of " Quonset Hut " , or &mf any other lean--
type of a building .
Section 3 . This ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinan-,
ces on the same subject and is intended to be supplementary thereto .
and not to repeal any section of any ordinance , and the regular
building permit shall be used in connection with this ordinance , fees
shall be collected in accordance with other ordinances on the
same subject , and upon the dismantimgg of the said temporary
ybuilding , another fee shall be paid and another permit issued , where'
is desired to construct a permanent building .
Section 4 . It being necessary for the public peace , health ,
and safety , an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance

and publication.

Section 5 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
direct conflict herewith are repealed .
Section 6 . This/ ordinance being necessary for the preser -
vation of the public health , peace and safety of the residents
of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , an emergency is hereby
declared to exist , and this ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage , approval and publication.
