ORDINANCE N0. 89 .
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY BETWEEN BLOCK FIVE AND BLOCK
SIX IN GUNTER ' S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS ,
VACATING IT , A ND 11ROYIDING.71FOR DISPOSITION OF SAIM
WHEREAS , 4 petition to close an alley as described
below was presented to the City Council , having been signed
by all property owners adjoining said alley , and
WHEREAS , said petition was approved by the Council and
notice of hearing set and proper publication of said notice
was made , and
WHEREAS , on the date set for the hearing o$ said petition ,
no objections were heard, and
WHEREAS , the City Council of Fayetteville , Arkansas , is
of the opinion that it is fitting and proper that the said
alley be closed , and that it would be to the best interests of
the Cit. of Fayetteville and to the property owners involved
that the said alley be closed ,
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE , ARKANSAS , that the allaey running in an
east and west direction between Block Five and Block Six in
Gunter ' s Addition to the City of Fayetteville , Ark -nsas , be
forever vacated and closed , and that title to the said lands
included in the alley be vested according to law .
Passed and approved this 6 9' day of --=G� � 1946 .
