ORDINANCE NMIBER 8-8 -6 .
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND CLOSING AN ALLEY IN GUNTER ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE .
Whereas a petition has been presented to the City Council
of the City cf Fayetteville signed by all porsons owning lands
adjacent to an alley hereinafter particularly described , stating
among other things that said alley has never been opened or main -
tained and requesting that said alley be vacated and closed as
provided by law in such cases ; and
Ub ereas notice of a hearing on said petition has beer' given
in all respects as required by law and said hearing was held_ at
the time and place set forth in said notice ; and

Whereas the City Council of the City of Fayettevillefis of
the opinion that said alley should be vacated and closed ;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City . r
of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that an alley between Rebecca and John
son Streets , bounded on the East by Block 7 , Gunter Additiork , , and
on the nest by Blocks 5 and 6 , Gunter Addition to the City : of Fay-
etteville , Arkansas , be and the same is hereby vacated and closed
and title to said ]rinds is hereby vested as provided by lav,.
passed and approved this 1st day of October , 1945 .
