AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR ABANDONING AND VACATING THE ALLEY
BETWEEN BLOCKS NO . L6 AND N0 . 17 , THE ALLEY BETWEEN BLOCKS N0.
19 AND N0 . 20sTHE ALLEY BETWEEN BLOCKS N0 . 23 AND NO . 24 AND THE
ALLEY RUNNING NORTH AND SOUTH # BOUNDED ON THE EAST BY BLOCKS NO .
16 AND N0 . 17 , AND ON THE WEST BY BLOCK N0 . 15 ALL IN GUNTER ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLEs ARKANSAS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
WASHINGTON COUNTYs ARKANSAS :

That Whereas all of the persona owning property hhe alley
between Blocks No . 16 and No . 17 , and all of the persons owning
property abutting the alley between Bloc No .19 and No .20 $ and all
of the persons owning property abuttin ley between Blocks No .23
and no . 24 and all persons owning prope ty abutting the alley run -
" `nAngnorth and south , , bounded on the east by . Blocks No . 16 and No . 17 ,
and on the west by Block No . 15 , all in Gunter Addition to the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansasspresented to the City Council petitions
praying that said alleys be abandoned and vacated;'
That Whereas the City Council by resolution directed the
City 'Clerk to give notice as provided by Act No .311 of the Acts of
The General Assembly of 1941 of the hearing of said pettitioms and
the said clerk gave the notice as provided by said Act .
That Whereas hearing has been duly had upon said petitions
before the City Council as provided in said Act , and it has been- dem
termined

termined by the City Council that all abutting property owners and
other persons directly interested have consented to the abandonment
of said alleys - and no one has appeared to oppose the granting of the
prayers of said petitions :isand the Council has found that said alleys
should be abandoned and vacated .
Therefore it is ordered and determined by the City. Counckl
that the property included within the alley between Blocks No .16 and
No . 17 and the - propery included within the alley between Blocks no . 19
and No .200 and the property included Within-ithe alley between Blocks
No . 23 and No . 24s and the property included in the alley Ivuhning northr *�n ;r4
and south , bounded on the east by Blocks No . 16 and No . 17s and on the
a west by Block No . 159 all in Gunter Addition to the City of Fayettevill
Arkansas be abandoned as alleys and that said property shall vest in the '
owners of the real estate adjacent thereto as provided in the said act of
the General Assembly
