AN ORIENANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENT OF BENEFITS IN STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0 . 46 OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS *
WHEREAS ,. two-thirds in value of the property holders
owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated in Street Improvement District No . 46 , organized
for , the purpose of grading , draining, paving, curbing and
guttering and otherwise improving streets within said dis-
trict , have petitioned the Council of the City of Fayette-
ville, Arkansas , for the - construction of said improvement,
and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real
property of said district according to benefits received ; and
WHEREAS , said benefits received by each and every block,
lot and parcel of real property situated in said district
equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said improvement to the
district is Thirteen Thousand Dollars ( $13 ,000 ,00) ;
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas , that said several blocks ,
lots and parcels of real property in said district be assessed
according to the assessment list for said Improvement District
as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk,_. and
that eight and one- third ( 8 1/3) per centum on each of said
blocks , lots and parcels shall be paid annually on or before
the lsto day of June of each ,year , beginning June lst . , 19419
until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid,
PASSED AND APPROVED this 13th day of May, 1940 .
