AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE LICENSE FOR OPERATION OF
BOWLING ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES .
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Fayetteville :
Section 1 . The annual license or tax for the privilege
of operating bowling alleys within the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , shall be Fifteen Dollars ( $15 , 00 ) per alley per
year , which tax shall become due and payable on January 1 ,
1940 , and on the first of January each succeeding year
thereafter ,
Section 2 , The penalties now prescribed by the Ordinances
of the City of Fayetteville for failure to pay said licenses
shall apply to the failure to pay license on bowling alleys ,
Section 3 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
PASSED and APPROVED this 13th day of November , 1939 .
