AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHE IG STREET IMBROVEMENT DISTRICT
PID . 53 OF THE CITY OF FAYE'lTBVILLE , ARKANSAS. .
WHEREAS , parties claiming to be the owners of two-thirds in
assessed value of the property located within the territory herein-
after described have filed a petition praying that an improvement
district be established for the purpose hereinafter set out.
WHEREAS , after due notice as required by law the City Council
of the Uity of Fayetteville , Arkansas , has heard all parties de-
airing to be heard and has ascertained that said petition was signed
by two-thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property within
said territory ;
PAW , TSEREE'ORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Fayetteville , Arkansas ;
SECTLON I . There is hereby established an improvenent district
embracing the following property bounded as follows , to-wit :
Beginning at a point in the Northwest corner of Lot 36 , Block
1 , J. H. MoIlroy ' s University Subdivision, going. thence east
along the North line of said Lot and ' continuing across a Porth
and South alley to the West line of Lot 53, Block, l aforesaid
addition, which is also, the East line of theNorth and South
alley; thence North along the East line of said alley to the
Northwest corner of Lot 53 said block , and addition; thence
s Porth across an Eaat, and West alley to Southwest corner of
Lot 52 , Block 1 , J. H. McIlroy ' s University Subdivision and
continuing North along the East line of said alley to the North-
west corner of Lot 37 , Block 19 J. H. McIlroy ' s University
Subdivision; thence North across East and West alley to the
Southwest corner of Lot 9 , Block 1 aforesaid addition, and
continuing Porth along the West line of said lot to the South '
line of West Dickson Street ; thence E3at along the South line
of West Dickson Street and crossing Buchanan Street and con-
tinuing along South line of West Dickson Street to the North-
east corner of Lot 4 Shreve ' s Addition; thence South along
the East line of Lot 4 Shreve' s Addition and continuing across
an East and West alley to the Northeast corner of Lot 9 Shreve ' s
Addition, and contlnuing �South- along . the Fist line of said
Lot 9 and crossing Williams Strept to the Northeast" corner of
Lot 16 Shreve ' s Addition; - thence South along the East line of
said Lot ; thence . South across an East and West alley and Lot
19 Shreve ' s Addition and across a private alley parallel to
n and 150 feet- from the Mat line of Buchanan Street to the
North East corner of Lot 6 , Block 3, J. H. McIlroy's Univer-
sity Subdivision; thence South along the East . line _ of Lot 6
said Block and Addition to and continuing across Fairview
Street to the Northeast corner of Lot 4., Block 4, McIlroy ' s
University Subdivision; thence continuing South along the.
East line of said Lot 65 feet ; thence West parallel to and
65 feet South of the south line of Fairview Street to the
Sist line of Lot 15 , Block 4 , J. H. .MoIlroy 's University Sub-
division; thence South along the Etat line of said lot to the MICROFILMED

Block One ( 1) , Lots 9 to 15 inclusive ; Lots 36 , 36A sad 37
to 59. inclusive.
Block Three ( 3) , Lots one ( 1 ) to 'Six ( 6 ) inclusive Block Four
(4) , the North halves ( N ) of Lots 4 to 14 inclusive. Also a part
of Lot Fifteen ( 15) described as beginning at the Northeast corner
of said . lot and running thence South to the Southeast corner there-
of ; thence West to the Southwest corner thereof ; thence northeast-
wardly along a line extending from the southwest corner of said
lot to the nearest point on the south end of the present pave-
ment on Ozark Avenue ; to a point where said line intersects the
northeasterly corner of said Lot 15 ; thence in a southeasterly
direction with the line of said lot to the place of beginning.

for the purpose of draining , grading , curbing , ,.guttering , ' and paving
Bucba33an Avenue from West Dickson Street to Fairview Street and Fairview
Street from and including its intersection with Buchanan Avenue to and
connecting with the present paving on Ozark Avenue.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District No. 53 ;
and D. Y. Thomas , Jack Hight , and Sam Be Wheeler are hereby named Comte .
missioners who shall compose the Board of Improvement for .said district.
