AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED ) "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF ORDINANCE
N0e795 OR THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE9 ARKANSAS . "
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE ; ARKANSAS :
SECTION ONE : That Section One of Ordinance No . 795 of the Ordinances of toe
City of Fayetteville be amended) insofar as it affects the bond required to be
posted as a prerequisite to the granting of permits provided in said Ordinence
Noe 7959 so as to permit applicants to post a good and sufficient surety bond
to be approved by the CityEngineer) in lieu of the cash bond required by said
Ordinance No . 795 . Provided further that said surety bond may be perpetual or
for a fixed length of time and may cover all applications for permits vrlhtout
the execution of an additional bond or the depositing of additional cash) at the
discretion of the City Engineer ) rho shall communicate his instructions in virit-
ing to the City Clerk) with respect to said bond.
SECTION VIO : All Ordinences and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed) and because much confusion and inconvenience has arisen because
of the enfodoement of the terms of Ordie - nce No . 795 ) an emergency is hereby
declar2d and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and
after its passage ) approval and publication.
