ORDINANCE N0 . '784
AN ORD INAPi� E TO REGULATE PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY
OF FAYETTEVILLE, AND OTHER RELATED PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE,
ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person or
persons to park any motor driven vehicle in the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas , upon either side of West Center Street and ' est Mountain
Street to the point where they intersect with Churdh Street , or upon ,
either side of test Mountain Street to the point where it intersects
with College 'Avenue , or upon either side of North East Street to the;
point where it intersects with Meadow Street , or upon either side . of� -
South East Street and South Block Street to the point where they inter-
sect with Rock Street for a period of time . longer than two. hours be -
tween the hours of e#gFrt o ' clock A. M. and sag o ' clock P . M. upon all '
week days .
Section 2 . Any person or persons violating any of the provisions
of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor , and upon con-
e viction thereof in the Police Court shall be fined in any sum not less
than Jp1 . 00 nor more than ;;25 . 00 for each offense . ✓
r` Section 3 . This ordinance shall be cumulative to all other traffic
and parking ordinances and shall repeal only such parts of ordinances
that are in direct conflict herewith end shall be in force and effect
from .and after date of its passage , .approval and publication.

and that it causes a . congestion of traffic , and it being
necessary for the peace , health , and safety of the citizens '
