An Ordinance authorizing the application to the Administrator , Fed-
eral Emergency Administration of Public Works for a loan on. or pur -
chase of the bonds under Section 202 , 203 , 207 , and 208 of the Nat -
ional Indistrial Recovery Act , approved June 16 , 1933 .
An Ordinance of the City of Fayetteville .. Arkansas , authorizing and
directing that necessary steps be taken for the installation of ext -
ensions and improvements upon the Sewer System for the City of Fay-
etteville , Arlin nsas , and authorizing the procurement of necessary
funds from the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works or-
ganized under an Act of the Congress of the United States and all
all proceedings incidental thereto .
Be it Ordained by the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas :
Section 1 : In accordance with the National Indistrial Recovery Act ,
approved June 16 , 19330 indicating the conditions under which loans
will be made by that Body in communities for the installation of Pub -
lic Works . Now , be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , in regular session assembled do hereby direct
the City Engineer of Fayetteville , Arkansas , . to prepare plans in ac -
cordance with the requirements of the State Board of Health , the laws
of the State of Arkansas , Court Orders and the requirements of the .
City of Fayetteville , Arkansas . ,
Section 2 : Be it further ordained that the City Attorney of the City of
Fayetteville , Arkansas , is hereby authorized and directed to act as
legal Council for said City of Fapettevklle , Arkansas , in the matter
of extensions and improvements to said Sewer System.
Section 3 : Be it further Ordained that the expense of said engineering
and legal service shall be paid from funds furnished by the Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works as , if , and when secured .
Section 4 : Be it further ordained that the said Council proceed at once
to have necessary reports prepared and open negotiations for securing of
funds for the purpose of installing the said Sewer extension .
Section 5 : Be it further ordained that upon the approval by the Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works that a loan will be made for
the installation of said Seiner Extension , that this Council binds it -
self to proceed to the issuance of the proper Revenue Bonds or.—otitier
evidences of indebtedness exclusively against the plant and income
therefrom, and will accompany said application with complete engineering
plans , estimates , legal and financial data and all other required
exhibits ,
Section 6 : Be it further ordained that the passage of this ordinance is _
necessary for the welfare and peat$ and health of the community , u; D;;_
ergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall take ef-
fect and be in force from and after its passaggj and all ordinances and +
parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are he eby repealed ;
