1 . That the iridth of South School- Avenue £sola the north line of wrest
Mountain Street to the south line of Prairie Avenue , l,ayetteville , Arkansas
is hereby declared to be , is fixed 2nd shall remain at sixty feet,

3 • That the said street designated in Section 1 hereof is hereby
dedicated to the public for its use and benefit as a public thorour-hfr;re ,
subject to the rules , reu.-alLtions , and requirem. nts of the statutes of the
State of ;irkansas .
4* All ordinances or parts of ostlinnnces in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
It is ascertained and declared that the herein before Street is a
part of a federally recognized State highway; That the rules of the
is.ederL l Bureau of Public ;loads require that Streets shall be sixty feet in
vridth before they are elipible for iiaprovements by use of Federal funds ;
that this Section of Street and Hitln•,ay is eligible for and has been
approved for improvement pending the dedication of a sixty foot v.idth ;
that the present conditi .,n of the Street is in a state of repair which
renders it dan;;erous to the traveling public and by this ordinance the
v<ay is cleared for re;covin,^ this dangerous condition . It is , therefore ,
declared that an emergenc;,� exists , that this ordinance is necessary for the
imiediate preservation of t:ie public peace , health, and safety, and that
this ordinance shalt t ?ce efiaet nand be in force from and after its passage ,
approval , and Publication .

AN CRDINANCE ENTITLED , " AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING
THE WIDTH OF SOUTH SCHOOL AVENUE , FAY11TTEVILLL , ARKANSAS , A14D DEDICA-
TING TH2 SAI(.E FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC . "
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Fayetteville ,
Arkansas :
SECTION 1 . That the width of South School Avenue from the
North line of West Mountain Street to the South line of Prairie Ave -
nue , Fayetteville , Arkansas , is hereby declared to be , is fixed and
shall remain at sixty feet .
SECTION 2 . That the Mayor of the City of Fayetteville , Arkansas ,
is hereby authorized and directed to cause to be prepared a plat show -
ing the width of said School Avenue in accordance with this ordinance
and when the same is prepared to file the same in the office of the
Circuit Clerk and ex- officio Recorder of Washington County , Arkansas .
SECTION 3 . That the said Street designated in Section One
hereof is hereby dedicated to the public for its use and benefit as
a public thoroughfare , subject to the rules , regulations and require -
ments of the statutes of the State of Ar1ransas . ,
SICTION 4 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed .
